Crimp

Part of the cyberfleet plugin. See that page for install instructions.

Trigger: invoked when the Council wants to recruit, browse, or discharge specialist crew: a marketplace persona type. Not for spawning a ship instance (Operator today), building or tuning an automaton (Mechanic), or authoring a plain workflow skill from scratch.

Specialist crew don’t come bundled. The Crimp recruits them from the Tavern, the storefront of installable specialist crew (aced, quill, Warden, Scanner). Each one keeps its own face, and you hail it by name. Browse the roster, pick the hands you need, and the Crimp signs them on.
